Each meal is served with the following
Main Course
Vegetarians are served more soup instead of the chicken.
Eggplant Chicken Upside Down
With cauliflower, eggplant and rice. Seasoned with aromatic spices and slow cooked in the oven until perfectly tender, this Jordanian staple is a group favorite.
Lentil Soup (Vegetarian)
This simple, yet flavorful lentil soup is warm and comforting with a classic taste.
Side Dishes
Tomato Cucumber Salad
Tomato and cucumber are drizzled with a fresh vinaigrette and paired with feta cheese to make a fresh, light side, perfectly paired with the rich spices of the main course.
Tabouleh
Our tabouleh is made fresh with hearty bulgar wheat, chopped parsley, and dressed with a light lemon drizzle.
House Hummus
Our house made hummus is smooth and savory, best eaten with our fresh baked pitas.
House Pita
All our dishes are prepared on site, and that includes the pita. Nothing tastes quite as good as fresh, hot bread with a homemade meal.
Drinks
your choice between
Lemon Mint
Balanced between sweet and sour, this classic Middle Eastern beverage is frothy, cold, and refreshing.
Bedouin Tea
Best enjoyed in the desert, Bedouin tea is a Roots for Refugees favorite. This sweet black tea is steaming hot and very tasty.
